The hot weather is finally here and we have been lucky enough to enjoy some sunnier bank holidays over recent weeks. While the warmer weather, longer days and lighter nights does mean lots of enjoyable time outside, it does also mean it is time to check those gutters.
Your gutters are likely to be full of the falling leaves from the autumn with extra rain from April showers causing a mulch-like effect that creates gutter blockages. Summer is a really good time to get your gutters cleaned, inside and out. During summer we can clear out everything that has collected in your gutters since the last gutter clean, and complete a gutter maintenance service for you.

We can also wash down your gutters for you, so your home looks clean, tidy and well presented when the skies are bright and clear. This will help give your home that extra kerb appeal!

Here at Pristine Gutter Cleaning we would recommend that you have your gutters cleaned at least once a year, ideally twice a year. However, this is dependent on where you live, how many trees are over and around your property and how much your gutter collects between gutter cleans.
Regular gutter cleaning will reduce the risk of summer insects moving into your gutters. This will then reduce the risk of insects getting into your home and you or family members getting bites from these bugs and insects, or stings from bees and wasps.
Not only will a summer gutter clean help reduce the risk of bug bites and similar, it will also increase the longevity and lifespan of your guttering. This is because the frequent gutter cleans are reducing additional weight and stress on the gutters.
The summer often brings less rain than the rest of the year, although there is no guarantee in England! However, a summer with less rain creates the ideal time to implement a routine gutter maintenance and cleaning service. It’s also a good time to find out if your guttering needs repairing and to get it fixed.

If you’d like to have your guttering cleaned and cleared out then give us a call. We will send you before and after photos when the job has been completed so you can see how full your gutters were, and how they look now!
